Good questions

Everything you want to know

What makes Dr. Tomeka Roberts’ feminine wash different?

It’s formulated by a board-certified OBGYN with more than 23 years of clinical experience. Every wash is pH-balanced and made without sulfates, parabens, or artificial dyes, the ingredients that most often irritate sensitive skin, so it cleanses gently while respecting your body’s natural balance.

What does “pH-balanced” actually mean for a feminine wash?

The skin of the external intimate area is naturally mildly acidic. A pH-balanced wash is formulated to stay close to that range so it cleans without disrupting your skin’s natural protective barrier. Many ordinary soaps are far more alkaline, which can leave the area feeling dry or irritated.

Why are sulfates and parabens left out?

Sulfates are harsh detergents that can strip and dry delicate skin, and parabens are preservatives many people prefer to avoid. Leaving both out keeps the formula gentle enough for daily use, even on sensitive or reactive skin.

How do I use the Gentle Foam Wash?

Pump a small amount into your hands and spread it lightly over the external feminine area with your fingertips, then rinse thoroughly with water. It’s designed for daily external use. The wash is for the vulva (the outside) only, never for internal/vaginal use.

Is it safe for sensitive skin and everyday use?

Yes. It’s designed for gentle daily use, and the Fragrance-Free option is ideal for the most sensitive or reactive skin. As with any new product, if you have a known skin condition or notice irritation, stop use and check with your healthcare provider.
